Dr. Anais Gautier graduated from Oniris University, Nantes-Atlantic National College of Veterinary
Medicine (France) in 2014. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery and a
Master’s degree in veterinary sciences in Liege University (Belgium) in 2014-2015. During this
internship, she developed a b interest for emergency and critical care (ECC) medicine. After five months of
externship at the ECC service of a private hospital in California (USA) in 2015, she returned to France to work
as an overnight emergency veterinarian at the Clinique vétérinaire VetUrgences35 in Rennes (France).
In 2016, Anais enrolled in a 3-year residency program in ECC medicine at Auburn University in Alabama (USA) and
obtained her diplomate status from the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. During her
specialization, she also completed a Master’s degree in biomedical sciences and a Hyperbaric medicine team
training for animal applications. She joined the DMV family in 2020 and worked for one year at the Ottawa Animal
Emergency and Specialty Hospital. She moved to Montreal and started working at DMV Lachine and DMV Nord in 2021.
Outside work, I enjoy outdoor activities, squash racquetball, running, practicing the piano and the guitare
(tentatively), social gathering and travelling.
