Transfers
After treatments or surgery, once your pet no longer needs DMV’s specialized 24-hour care, you’ll be able to transfer your pet to your regular veterinary clinic.
As soon as your pet’s health is stable, we strongly encourage you take it home if your regular veterinarian can offer daily or regular medical supervision.
Exotic animals transfers
Injured or ailing exotic animals can be stabilized at DMV Centres, but they must be transferred to more specialized clinics as soon as possible during working hours.
If DMV offers the specialized care the pet needs, the transfer will be automatic and the animal will not need to be physically moved.
However, if the specialized care required is not offered by DMV, you will be responsible for the transfer to your chosen specialist.
