Veterinary Medical Imaging – Seeing better for optimal care

What is medical imaging used for?

Medical imaging plays an essential role in the diagnosis and monitoring of disease in companion animals. Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and specialized expertise, it enables accurate assessment of internal structures, facilitating rapid and appropriate patient care.

Each examination is carried out to the highest standards of excellence in collaboration between our veterinary imaging specialists and our highly trained technicians to ensure an accurate diagnosis:

✔ X-ray: Non-invasive, rapid modality with high-resolution digital equipment for assessment of fractures and other bone abnormalities, intestinal obstructions and other acute abdominal problems, and lung and heart disease.

✔ Ultrasound: Minimally invasive, detailed modality with state-of-the-art equipment for detection of numerous abdominal (various cancers, endocrine problems, vascular malformations, intestinal diseases, etc.), soft tissue and thoracic diseases.

✔ CT-Scan (computed tomography): Versatile modality with advanced equipment and examinations for comprehensive detection and evaluation of numerous diseases of the skull and nasal cavities, abdominal, thoracic, vascular, neurological (e.g. herniated discs), soft tissue and bone, including among others evaluation of masses and tumor assessments.

✔ Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI): Advanced reference modality with highly specialized equipment for neurological diseases (cerebral and spinal).

✔ Fluoroscopy: Real-time analysis of internal movements for certain cardiac, tracheal, esophageal and orthopedic diseases.

Interdisciplinary collaboration with specialists and your family veterinarian

Our veterinary imaging specialists work closely with surgeons, neurologists, oncologists and internists to optimize patient care. This multidisciplinary approach enables rapid and accurate diagnoses, improving therapeutic outcomes.

Whether for routine assessment, in-depth investigation or post-treatment follow-up, our medical imaging service is essential for complete care, always with respect for animal welfare.

In addition, an external ultrasound service is available by appointment for patients of general veterinarians, enabling them to offer this advanced imaging to your furry friends, and benefit from the expertise of veterinary imaging specialists. If required, samples for in-depth analysis can be taken at the time of the appointment.
