What types of emergencies does CENTREDMVET Québec treat?

CENTREDMVET Québec handles a variety of veterinary emergencies, including :

  • Severe allergic reactions and breathing difficulties
  • Cardiopulmonary arrest and other critical conditions We have an integrated laboratory and pharmacy for rapid intervention, enabling immediate and complete management of each case.

Do I need to make an appointment for an emergency consultation?

No, emergencies are walk-ins. You can come directly to our Quebec City center, where our interdisciplinary team will take care of your pet as soon as it arrives.

What are the signs of an emergency requiring an immediate visit?

The following signs indicate an emergency and require an immediate visit during our opening hours:

  • Difficult breathing or respiratory distress
  • Convulsions or sudden seizures
  • Severe and persistent vomiting or diarrhea
  • Extreme pain: groaning, inability to move
  • Loss of consciousness or collapse
